”Anthi understands our business model and through her drawings, describes it visually for our team to understand; she is a value add.“ Gerald K.

Drawing for a Cause is rooted in the belief that we should utilize our strengths to benefit the common good. This idea is not complicated nor is it new. It is about doing what you love in order to support a good cause, for example; some people walk, run or paddle, some people knit or sew, or in this case some people draw. As an architect and artist, I recognize this as a core belief and am committed to drawing the buildings and environment that shape our daily lives. I am drawing for a cause.
Here’s how it works. For a limited time only, submit a photograph of a building from the exterior; it could be your house, a relative’s house, or simply a building you admire or love; and I will draw it. If you don’t have a particular building in mind and would still like to participate we can discuss other options. Once the drawing is complete, you receive the signed original drawing; a digital copy will remain in the Archit8 archives. Framing is available at an additional cost.
Depending on the response received, Archit8 reserves the right to publish collections of buildings that are drawn, in categories of our choosing; for example if we receive a significant number of Victorian era buildings, we will categorize them accordingly and publish them as a collection. If your building is chosen for publication, you will be notified in writing and asked for written authorization to include in the collection.
Here’s what it costs. $250 per drawing (assumed drawing size 12x16)

The cause. There are (8) principles that define the criteria for causes we support.
The contribution. $200 of the $250 will be made as a contribution to a cause covered by one or more of the (8) principles listed above.
